Battle and train up a computer-controlled Figure Player of the character

Written Figure Player data from Super Smash Bros. for Wii U / 3DS can be converted to work with Ultimate (but not back again).

Majora's Mask Link scans as Young Link, while in previous games it scanned as adult Link.

Read-only feature:

Receive a Spirit of the character

Figures of these characters grant the same Spirit as one another:
- Alm and Celica
- Callie and Marie
- Octoling Girl and Octoling Boy
- Pearl and Marina
- Reese and Cyrus

Figures of these characters grant multiple Spirits from a single scan:
- Pikmin

For all others, a scan grants a single Spirit of the character the figure represents as illustrated below. Each individual amiibo can only be scanned for a Spirit once, though you can obtain duplicate Spirits by other means in-game. All of these Spirits can also be obtained through normal gameplay without amiibo.
