amiibo Features
Metroid: Samus Returns has 2 amiibo features, which work with 9 amiibo.
Jump to feature ▾Read-only feature:
Unlock a Reserve Tank depending on the amiibo / After beating the game: Unlock a gallery, Sound Test or Fusion mode depending on the amiibo
Scan these amiibo to unlock a Reserve Tank for the rest of the save file (each refills after use):
- Samus Aran (Samus Returns): Aeion Reserve Tank (refills the Aeion gauge when empty)
- Zero Suit Samus: Energy Reserve Tank (restores health when empty)
- Any other Samus amiibo (Smash Bros. and others): Missile Reserve Tank (replenishes missiles when empty)
After beating the game, scan them again to unlock these bonuses:
- Samus Aran (Samus Returns): Metroid II art gallery
- Zero Suit Samus: Sound Test
- Any other Samus amiibo (Smash Bros. and others): Concept art gallery
- Metroid: Fusion difficulty mode, played in the Fusion Suit
