amiibo Features
Kirby Air Riders has 5 amiibo features: 4 work with specific amiibo (14 in all), and 1 works with any amiibo.
Jump to feature ▾Race and train up a computer-controlled Figure Player of the rider and machine
Rider and machine combo will appear in-game. Experience is saved to the rider, not machine. Figure Players can join multiplayer matches and, from Version 1.2.0, online Paddocks.

Unlock the rider and machine as a main menu figure, plus first-scan License Card rewards
Each rider and machine pairing you scan becomes a main menu figure; swap riders between machines for more. The first scan also gives Miles and, for the Kirby, Bandana Waddle Dee, Meta Knight and King Dedede figures, a License Card theme and icon of the character. The alternate color (or Bandana Waddle Dee or Noir Dedede as a rider) the first scan can also give is listed separately.

Unlock a License Card theme of the character, plus Miles
First scan of each amiibo: a License Card theme with the character's Kirby Air Riders artwork, and 2,500 Miles. Later scans: 500 Miles, or 300 Miles and a random decal or sticker. Up to five amiibo a day, each once a day. The alternate color the first scan also gives is listed separately.
Unlock an alternate color for the character's rider early, or the rider themself
The first scan of a Kirby, King Dedede, Meta Knight or Waddle Dee amiibo (Kirby series, Super Smash Bros. or Kirby Air Riders; Waddle Dee: Kirby series only) unlocks a random alternate color for that rider not yet unlocked. The Bandana Waddle Dee, Chef Kawasaki, and Noir Dedede amiibo unlock those riders. All of these riders and colors can also be unlocked by playing (Checklist tasks, or Road Trip for Noir Dedede).
Receive Miles and a random decal or License Card sticker
Up to five amiibo a day, each once a day.
This feature works with any amiibo (with the possible exception of those that work with its other features) but not cards.
